It’s About Time developers aiming for 1080p docked, 720p handheld and 30fps on Switch – My Nintendo News

Toys for Bob Creative Producer Lou Studdert has confirmed that the team is aiming for 1080p docked and 720p handheld for the recently announced Nintendo Switch version of Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time. Mr. Studdert said that they are aiming for 30fps in both modes. Twitter users have pointed out that the Switch version uses a kind of cell-shaded technique to try to replicate the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One visuals and it looks rather nice. Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time arrives on the Nintendo Switch on Friday, 12th March.

“The team itself has taken the game and basically done tuning to make sure that it works on the Nintendo Switch, and making sure that it works on the go, works docked and undocked. It’s 720p when undocked, and 1080p when docked. Frame rate is 30.”
